Gene Szafran
In the early 1970s Gene Szafran painted the covers of Signet's Heinlein paperbacks and dozens of other science fiction books for Signet, Ballantine, Bantam and Lancer: airbrushed figures in rainbow halos, mandalas and melting colour. These are the covers the ISFDB credits to him, each matched by eye to a cover Open Library holds, in the order they were first printed.
